Our next location on the agenda was supposed to be the BALLET STUDIO, which is located right in Portland, but at this point it was close to dusk and we had a few more things to see. We decided to skip the ballet studio. But here are some pictures and info I found for those that want to visit!

 Does anyone know for sure if the interior was filmed here too?? Look at the windows and the ceiling. They look different to me...

Bridge of the Gods - Opening Scene

TWILIGHT FILMING LOCATION:  Opening scene when Bella is riding in the police cruiser with Charlie on the way to Forks.

Connects Hwy 14 in Washington to Columbia River Hwy in Oregon


We then stopped in Cascade Locks and the BRIDGE OF THE GODS. The bridge crosses over the Columbia River and connects Columbia River Hwy in Oregon to Hwy 14 in Washinton. Beautiful area! Please do research on the Cascade Locks area because there is so much to see and do and its so beautiful. Unfortunately we didn't get to see as much as we would have like to. So just check it out! We stopped right at the bottom of the Bridge of the Gods, which is the bridge that Charlie and Bella drive over in the police cruiser on their way to Forks. We then went over the bridge which had $1 toll fee and it took us from Oregon to the state of Washington!

I Know What You Are Scene

On to OXBOW REGIONAL PARK, the scene where Bella tells Edward "I know what you are." We drove on a beautiful windy road until we got to the entrance of the park. There is a station at the front to pay a $5 donation. The park is beautiful so if you have some time definitely set out on the trails and enjoy some of Oregon's beauty!! The exact scene location was difficult for us to find at first. If you are able to find a park ranger, they should be able to point you in the right direction to the scene location. The filming area is located between trailheads D and E. If you get to a large gravel parking area you have gone too far. Right next to the location is a little pull off area and on the opposite side of that is the filming site right near the road.

 

 

 

Diner Scenes

 The CARVER CAFE is the location of the diner scenes with Bella and Charlie. Also Stephenie Meyer made her cameo here.  The diner has the same exact curtains as in the movie. They also have a few Twilight memorabilia around the cafe. They have a book for Twilighters to sign and also postcards to buy. They had good food and the staff was friendly.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Stone Cliff Inn - Skin of a Killer Scene, Lion & Lamb Scene

The Stone Cliff Inn is a restaurant located in Carver, Oregon. The restaurant was closed when we were there but we had heard they have Twilight memorabilia, more pictures/info of the filming, and friendly staff willing to talk about the movie with you. The movie scenes were filmed on the other side of the parking lot to the Stone Cliff Inn. The area has signs where each scene was filmed and explains about the filming that went on.

The Stone Cliff Inn is the location of the scenes where Edward and Bella are "above the cloudbank" and Edward is telling her that he is dangerous and jumping around from rock to rock and pulling out tree roots! Also filmed there were the scenes "so the lion fell in love with the lamb", "your love, its like a drug to me", and also where Edward reveals himself in the sunlight. 

 

 

 

 

 

Greenhouse Scene

The greenhouses are located on the Clackamas Community College campus. We found it with ease. This location is where the field trip scenes were filmed when they go to the greenhouses and learn about compost tea. To get to the greenhouses you have to follow the road along to behind the campus area. The greenhouse that Bella actually walks out of is the one on the right. Sometimes the doors are open so if you're lucky you may get inside!
